It’s becoming a bit of an annual thing with Ann, founder of Double Happiness Studio, who blends east with west creating floral aesthetics beyond the ordinary for weddings, events and editorial. Ann wanted a Soulful Shoot to celebrate her son Kiran’s 2nd birthday and also her incredible floral art.
Our shoot took place last month in the light and airy Sunset Studios in The Bussey Building, Peckham. Ann wanted me to capture some personal branding portraits of her, details of her incredible flowers, plus some of her family centre stage. With her husband Rajirags sneaking in a few portraits too!
We spent a couple of hours playing in the studio, with Ann arranging an arch of blooms, distracting Kiran from train spotting (he was obsessed!) with bubbles and snacks. We had giggles (mostly these), plus a few tears and so much cuteness. Love what we created together!
After the shoot, as per last year, Ann sent me home with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. Thanks Ann and happy birthday Kiran!
