A half day personal branding Soulful Shoot with Zoe of Burton’s Blooms last week in Wimbledon.
Zoe is a London based wedding florist and offers a young, fresh and modern perspective on wedding flowers. She loves putting together moodboards and working with couples to create floral arrangements which totally exceed their expectations.
Zoe wanted some fresh new brand images and portraits to update her website and social media channels and her heart was set on some shots with the sun streaming through the windows. She’d picked the perfect studio for the job, however on the morning of the shoot the rain was well and truly set in… typical UK weather!
We went ahead anyway, Zoe had prepped all the flowers the previous day… and we spent the first couple of hours shooting without the sun (it still looked gorgeous!) and then by some kind of miracle flashes of sun started appearing at just the right time in the studio (2pm was the optimal time!) creating beautiful patterns on the walls.
“Zoe! Quick, the sun’s out… put your jacket on!” yelled her mum across the studio as we worked with the magic of Mother Nature creating some beautiful shots working with the light.
I’m so happy with what we created together, from the initial moodboard of ideas to making it a reality, and it’s such a joy to see the images already on Zoe’s website and social media.
