Before our shoot, Mariah shared her incredible journey with me, and I was fascinated. She spent 12 years in the film industry, living a glamorous lifestyle, including eight years aboard a yacht. She also practices Argentine Tango—can you spot her gorgeous shoes in the photos?
Connection, she told me, is as essential to her as breathing. That deeply resonated with me because connection lies at the heart of all my Soulful Shoots. Her business name, Kallos, comes from ancient Greek philosophy, embodying both physical beauty and the virtues of the soul—perfectly aligning with acupuncture’s purpose of restoring balance and harmony within the body.
For over two decades, Mariah struggled with skin issues and hormonal imbalances. In search of holistic healing, she discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine, and through acupuncture, underwent a profound transformation. That journey shaped her mission: to help others achieve holistic well-being by restoring balance in their bodies, fostering both inner vitality and outer radiance.
Mariah envisioned a brand palette of neutral tones—clean, elegant, and understated in its luxury. She wanted a minimalist, predominantly white aesthetic, filled with natural light and a sense of closeness to nature. She found the perfect location in East London to bring that vision to life.
