A fun, vibrant Soulful Shoot with Ann, florist and founder of Double Happiness Studio, who blends east with west creating floral aesthetics beyond the ordinary for weddings, events and editorial. She’s been featured in The Sunday Times, Time Out & The Vinyl factory… and no wonder, because her flowers are out of this world beautiful!
Our shoot took place last month in a studio in Hackney Wick… Ann wanted me to capture some personal branding portraits of her, details of those incredible blooms, plus some of her partner Raj and their one year old son Kiran to celebrate his first birthday. This kid is cute. In fact they’re all cute!
We spent three hours playing in the studio, rearranging flowers, coaxing Kiran centre stage with treats and all three of us singing nursery songs to him trying to make him laugh. Think we did a pretty good job, I love how these shots have turned out.
After the shoot, all of the flowers were up for grabs, so I was lucky enough to go home with a bunch! Thanks Ann :)
